Truth is the highly-anticipated new album from best-selling, globally acclaimed pianist Alexis Ffrench - "the classical star for the streaming age" (Good Morning Britain).

The UK's biggest selling pianist of 2020, Ffrench's music has amassed almost half a billion streams and both albums Evolution and Dreamland reached #1 in the classical music charts. He has sold a quarter of a million equivalent album units. Aside from huge sales success, Ffrench has headlined the Royal Albert Hall, collaborated with fashion houses Miyake and Hugo Boss, worked on campaigns with Vodafone, Sony Xperia, and Skoda, played Latitude Festival, worked with Paloma Faith, composed several film scores - and shares the same management team as Little Mix and Niall Horan.

The Times wrote that, "If a single person epitomises the new push towards making classical music more diverse, eclectic and unstuffy, it's Alexis Ffrench."

For years, Ffrench has used his music to highlight mental health, discuss diversity and challenge the classical world to be more inclusive. Truth, his most powerful and political album to date, was born from the grief, anger and helplessness he felt following the death of George Floyd. "I'm usually wary of making any sort of political statement," he says, "but sometimes you have to put your head above the parapet. Truth was borne out of an intensely personal moment. These songs are my reaction to that."

Truth was recorded at the world-famous Real World Studios near Bath, where Ffrench worked remotely with a 70-piece orchestra in a custom-built studio in Vienna, and recorded partly on a piano last used by Harry Styles. The album contains 13 tracks, including Songbird, a follow-on from hit single Bluebird, and features from Jin Oki and Leona Lewis - the latter on a track co-written with John Maguire (Calum Scott, Tom Chaplin).

Truth is an album borne out of feelings of grief, despair, anger and injustice; it is proof of the power of community, positive thought and collective healing.
